I gladly welcomed a relatively uneventful week! The weekend of my two month anniversary was very low key and much needed - I had a chance to catch up with a lot of friends from home, work on my to do list, and spend some time on the beach to just read and relax - it was perfect! Amazing how much better and recharged I felt by Sunday night!
The rest of the week went off without a hitch. Luckily work has finally slowed down, and I'm trying to get into a routine with baking (and getting up at 4:30 every other morning ... though this week called for two mornings in a row given the success of one day's treats!). Had pizza with a friend to talk baking, went out with two new girlfriends - Marie and Christie (and the Red Hot Banana ice cream from Rowdy Joe's was surprisingly my favorite!), and went to the "pitch-in" holiday party at Rhythms ... nothing says Christmas like peanut butter pie and fruit pizza!
Now onto my first Christmas in the Caribbean!
